  • The Sela Pass (more appropriately called Se La, as La means Pass) is the high-altitude mountain pass located in Tawang District of Arunachal Pradesh state of India. It enjoys the majestic elevation of 4170 m (13,700 ft) that connects the Buddhist city of Tawang Town to Tezpur and Guwahati. It’s the main road that connects Tawang with the rest of India.
  • Tawang is the largest Buddhist Monastery in India and the second largest in the world making it the most important site of pilgrimage for the Buddhists. This beautiful majestic Monastery truly lives up to its name and is also called the Galden Namgey Lhatse which literally means ‘celestial paradise in a clear sky’.
  • The Orchid Research and Development Center at Tippijust 5 km ahead of Bhalukpong, an entry point for Arunachal Pradesh. It is part of the Sessa Wildlife Sanctuary situated 20km ahead on the Bomdila road. Explore the beauty of nature at the Orchid Research And Development Center which preserves several species of orchids in a scientific way.
  • A wonderful way to enjoy the sunset at Guwahati on the magnificent Brahmaputra river flowing with amazing food and drinks and yes, of course, it has a bar menu to get you high on the beautiful sunset

  • To go to ARUNACHAL PRADESH, Inner Line Permits are needed for both Indian and foreign nationals.
  • To visit BUM-LA(the Indo-China border above 16,500 ft above sea level) and SANGET-SAR LAKE (popularly known as Madhuri Lake ), a 3 nights stay at Tawang is required as permits to visit both are required.
  • Carry adequate cash in Indian currency as ATMs might not be available in remote areas
