Mizoram witnesses three seasons- summer, winter and monsoon. However, extreme temperatures are not observed in any of the seasons] Winter is the best time to explore the state. It is advised not to visit the place during monsoons as rain restricts outdoor activities and adventures.

  • PHAWNGPUI PEAK (BLUE MOUNTAIN)  is the highest point in the state and is a revered mountain among the tribes of the state.
  • The peak is located within the Phawngpui National Park and oversees a wondrous landscape full of deep crevices and magnificent cliffs. It is said that trekking to the summit of Phawngpui is an experience no adventure lover can let go of.
  • A popular hangout place for Mizos especially couples is the SIALSUK VILLAGE is Sialsuk Tlang which is the highest point. With the absence of malls and movie theatres, this is the entertainment place for them. It provides an unmediated all-round view of the rolling Mizo Hills.
  • S.Vanlaiphai is  said to be a medium size village located in Hnahthial Block of Lunglei district, Mizoram 
  • Thenzawl called a Handloom City is popular for their product that has reached not only other towns and villages within Mizoram but other states of the country as well as foreign countries
  • Hmuifang, located at a distance of 50 km to the south of Aizawl, is a tourist spot near Aizawl, Mizoram
  • It is known as one of the most beautiful destinations in Mizoram, Hmuifang or Hmuifang Tlang is an amazing hill station with a lot to offer to the discerning traveler.

It is situated at a distance of about two miles from Tiau which is the boundary river between Mizoram (India) and Myanmar, and is within the village area of Rihkhawdar in Myanmar.

Kaziranga

Kaziranga declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985 for its unique natural environment .It is inhabited by the world’s largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds. Kaziranga is popularly known as the home of the “Big Five” – the elephant, rhinoceros, wild buffalo, tiger and Swamp Deer

Tezpur is a town and urban agglomeration in district Sonitpur, state of Assam, India. Tezpur is situated on the banks of the Brahmaputra River, 175 kilometres (109 mi) northeast of Guwahati, and is the largest of north bank towns with a population of more than 100,000 according to the 2011 Metropolitan Census.
