MANAS N P is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Tiger Reserve, Elephant Reserve, Biosphere Reserve, National Park and also a Wildlife Sanctuary. Manas National Park is open all year round, but the best time to visit Manas National Park is between the months of November to April.
Manas NP , declared as a National Park in 1990, is famous for its population of the Wild water buffalo, rare golden langur and the red panda. The Manas River also serves as an international border dividing India and Bhutan. It is a major tributary of Brahmaputra River.
