DIBRUGARH 

  • Dibrugarh is a city located in the Eastern part of Assam, the main urban center within the tea-growing districts of  Northeast India. Dibrugarh is known as the Tea City of India.

Namphake or Tai-Phakial Village 

  • Namphake Village or the Tai-Phakial village is the largest in Assam, boasting of 70 odd families, who trace their ancestry to the great Tai race. The village folks follow the traditional customs and dress code of the great Tai race and also speak a dialect similar to the language in Thailand.
  • A very beautiful Buddhist Monastery is located in this area and is considered as a meditation center because of the natural greenery and the serene atmosphere. 
  • Being one of the famous tourist attractions of Assam, the other attractions of the area are Nong Mungchiringta (Musulinda tank), Ashoka Pillar, Pagoda, and the traditional stilt houses. 

MAYUDIA 

  • Mayudia,56 km from Roing, is a picturesque town in a valley situated by the side of the Dibang River. A unique hill resort situated at an altitude of about 8000 ft amidst lofty hills, exuberant green forests, and breathtaking landscapes which provide a panoramic view of the enveloping mountains.
  • The place holds tranquility of its own and the view of snow-capped mountains adds more serenity to the environment.

Dibang wildlife sanctuary

  • The Dibang wildlife sanctuary is known as one of the eight wildlife sanctuaries and it is located near Anini district in Arunachal Pradesh.
  • Dibang wildlife sanctuary is one of the major biodiversity places and it’s a home for unique species of flora and fauna

Geologists claim that this lake is Oligotrophic (lakes with low algal production, and consequently, often have very clear waters, with high drinking-water quality) . as there is no fish in the lake !!!
