ALL THROUGH THE YEAR EXCEPT DURING MONSOON (JUNE TO SEPTEMBER). Mizoram witnesses three seasons- summer, winter and monsoon. However, extreme temperatures are not observed in any of the seasons]. Winter is the best time to explore the state. It is advised not to visit the place during monsoons as rain restricts outdoor activities and adventures.

Kaziranga

Kaziranga declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985 for its unique natural environment .It is inhabited by the world’s largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds. Tezpur is a town and urban agglomeration in district Sonitpur, state of Assam, India. Tezpur is situated on the banks of the Brahmaputra River, 175 kilometres (109 mi) northeast of Guwahati, and is the largest of north bank towns with a population of more than 100,000 according to the 2011 Metropolitan Census.
